The foundation hosts its Annual Golf Invitational & Awards Reception in memory of Frank Calandra Jr., a champion for innovation in diabetes prevention, treatment, and outcomes. This celebrated event brings together family and friends, professionals, and golf enthusiasts to honor Frank's life and his legacy as a distinguished golfer and generous philanthropist.

Event proceeds benefit innovations in diabetes care at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and with clinical partners of UPMC.

A Pro-AM Event

The Frank Calandra Jr. Foundation Golf Invitational is a pro-am style event where a foursome of amateur golfers plays with a professional golfer as their fifth teammate. The event provides unforgettable opportunities for sponsors and invited guests to play alongside some of the top professional golfers in the tri-state area.
