The foundation hosts its Annual Golf Invitational & Awards Reception in memory of Frank Calandra Jr., a champion for innovation in diabetes prevention, treatment, and outcomes. This celebrated event brings together family and friends, professionals, and golf enthusiasts to honor Frank's life and his legacy as a distinguished golfer and generous philanthropist.
Event proceeds benefit innovations in diabetes care at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and with clinical partners of UPMC.

The Frank Calandra Jr. Foundation Golf Invitational is a pro-am style event where a foursome of amateur golfers plays with a professional golfer as their fifth teammate.
